Obituary

Minerva Alicia Mu�oz, Devoted wife, beloved mother and grandmother passed away in Cuero, Texas on Monday, May 25, 2015 at the age of 87. She was born October 12, 1927 in Rosita, Coahuila, Mexico to the late Pablo and Paula García Gonzalez. Minerva married her late husband Mario H. Mu�oz in Allende, Coahuila, Mexico where they resided for several years until moving to San Antonio, eventually moving to Brackettville, which they embraced as their home.She was a store co-owner and homemaker. Her enthusiasm for life spilled over to all around her. She enjoyed talking to friends and family about sports, music, dancing and most of all a good laugh. She was a dedicated wife and mother and a good friend.Minerva was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Brackettville before moving to Cuero, Texas where she attended St. Michael's Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and helping her community. She will be greatly missed and always loved by those that knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Mario H. Mu�oz, and eldest son Victor M. Mu�oz. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law Hector and Norma Mu�oz of Austin, daughter and son-in-law Elva and Robert Pe�a of Cuero, son and daughter-in-law Sam and Kathy Mu�oz of San Angelo, daughter and son-in-law Martha and Matthew Glynn of Chicago, and daughter Sandra Mu�oz of California; grandchildren Ana Lea & Andy Torres and Adam Pe�a of San Antonio, Jacqueline Molinaro of Colorado, Christina Mu�oz and Anthony Mu�oz of Austin; great-grandchildren Bella and Christina Torres of San Antonio. The family wishes to thank all the caring people for their loving and caring help, especially Hospice of South Texas. A Memorial Mass will be held Friday July 10, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church with Father James N. Ikeatuegwu presiding. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Interment will follow at Brackettville Catholic Cemetery.
