Miguel Negrete, age 71, entered into rest surrounded by his beloved family August 11, 2025. He was born September 15, 1953 in Cueramaro, Gto, Mexico. He was preceded in death by his father, Martiniano Negrete, mother, Jerónima Negrete and daughter, Ida Pacheco.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 45 years, Lucy Negrete; daughters, Zandra Negrete (Aron Esquivel) and Laura Negrete; grandchildren, Rolando Rivas Jr. (Gloria Villegas), Rayissa Muñoz (Jaden Luna), Diego Castillo (Kayla Markette), Haileigh Ward, Ignacio Juarez and Iliana Juarez; great grandson Adan Sein; several brothers and sister and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2025 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Brackettville Sunset Funeral Home; 302 E. Spring St. Brackettville, Texas.

A chapel service will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Brackettville Sunset Funeral Home, 302 E. Spring St, Brackettville, Texas.

Interment will follow at Kinney County Cemetery, Brackettville, Texas.
