Michel R Siracusano"Mick" unexpectedly passed on Easter Weekend 2025 after having struggled with health problems, complicated by an acute illness. He is survived by his older brother Joe Siracusano and sister-in-law, Karen Kelly.Mick was the second son of Carlo Siracusano and Valda Welch-Siracusano. Mick was born and raised in New Jersey. Mick was devoted to his church family wherever he lived. He had a keen interest in music and science, eventually pursuing an Engineering degree.Mick worked through college as an electrical technician. Upon college graduation, he was accepted for an electrical engineering position. When the company moved to Texas. Mick found a position at a large software firm elevating to programing and systems analysis. When Mick's aging mother needed care, he relocated to care for her until she passed.Mick relocated back to Texas following his mother's passing while continuing in IT Technology. In retirement, Mick continued IT work remotely while getting his CDL license to become a school bus driver. It was choice by a patient and kind man who also loved children. Mick always sought to make the work and the world of others better in any manner he could, from his church, to his vocation, to his friends, and his family.Mick's unexpected passing was a shock to those who knew and loved him. His caring presence and insights will be missed, as in the African saying, "when an older person dies, a library burns to the ground." His passing has left an empty hole wherever he once stood – missed everywhere, by everyone.Mick's remains will be interred in Nebraska with a private family ceremony.
