Michael John Anderson, 84, passed away surrounded by loved ones October 8, 2025.

Born June 17, 1941 to George and Irene Anderson in Cambridge, England. He and his twin sister Anne were the youngest of 6 children.

As a young boy, Michael was musically inspired, he played the trumpet for The Cambridge Magistrate's Court. He also sang in the Chesterton High School Choir, and was a talented Artist.

Michael would on occasion entertain us with a song, and always put a smile on our faces. You had a beautiful voice, and we are now assuming you are giving the Angels some competition.

Mikes hobbies included rowing on the River Thames while being a member of the Rob Roy Boat Club. He was an avid Boxer and Karate enthusiast. Dancing also became a hobby when he met the love of his life (Jill) at the Ballroom. Micael and Jill would dance for hours, he would then, at the end of the evening give her a ride home on his bicycle.

Fishing and riding his Harley were undoubtably at the vertex of his hobbies. He always caught the biggest fish! (even if he didn't). And to ride on his Harley, just brought him pure joy!

Michael immigrated to the US with his wife and children from Cambridge, England to Schertz, Texas in 1977 where he continued his career as a Master Plumber. Even after retirement, he remained diligent in the building trade, created several pieces of wood work to share with those he loved, and those he became acquainted with.

Mike was a loving Husband, Father, Grandad, Great Grandad and Uncle.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents George and Irene Anderson, siblings Lacy Anderson, George Anderson, Percy Anderson, Mavis Costello and twin sister Anne Ramonas.

He is survived by his wife Gillian (Jill) Anderson, son's Gary Anderson, Wayne Anderson, daughter Fiona Troncoso and husband Matt Troncoso.

Grandchildren; Stacie Renko and husband Chris, Erin Sanchez and husband Fernando, Halli Travis and husband Ryan, Adam Troncoso, Sean Moore, Ryan Moore, Dylan Anderson, Dalton Anderson, Sydney Anderson and Seth Anderson.

Great Grandchildren; Callen, Stella and Caiden Renko. Matthew, Luke, Dominic, Bryn, Roman, Noah and Jude Travis. Amelia and Laurel Troncoso.

Multiple Nieces and Nephews in Texas, New York and England.

Whether you called him Michael, Mike or Mick, he was a friend to all!

As a husband and father...he was the strongest, toughest and most hard working man we ever knew. And sometimes a little feisty!

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025 at Sunset Memorial Oaks New Braunfels, from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm, with a Celebration of Life at 1:30 pm.

we will continue his Celebration of Life at The Faust Brewing Company.
