Mercedes R. Guadarrama, , age 88, entered into rest on Saturday, October 21, 2017 in Del Rio, Texas. She was born on September 24, 1929 in Guerrero, Coah, Mexico. She was preceded in death by her husband Eduardo Guadarrama, and son, Hector R. Guadarrama, and parents Eligio and Irinea Flores Sanchez de Rodriguez. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved to travel with her husband and family. She will be missed so very much by all her family and friends. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Norma G. Gomez and husband, Tomas H. Gomez. Also survived by her grandchildren, Hervey Gomez and wife Maria Elena Martinez-Gomez, Eduardo Guadarrama and Diana Guadarrama. She also has 10-Great-Grandchildren.Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 27, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM; Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
