Matilde R. Cordero, age 87, entered into rest on December 31, 2017 in Del Rio, Texas. She was born March 14, 1930 in Del Rio, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Maria Ines Cordero. Numerous brothers, nephew Ruben Aldape and niece Diana C. Ortiz, brother in law Paulino Aldape. Left to cherish her memory are her nephews Johnny Marinez and Jesse Marinez, whom she raised as her own. Nieces Mary Jane Rangel, Mary Segura, Lilia Valencia. Sister Epifania C. Aldape. Other nephews include Paul Aldape, Jr., Richard Aldape, Jesse Aldape and Ruben Aldape. Other nieces Anabel A. Galicia and Ramona Mayer. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2018, from 5:00pm-9:00pm, Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, January 4, 2018, 12:00pm, Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment to follow at San Felipe Cemetery.
