Mary Jane Fay, age 67, entered into rest on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 in Del Rio, Texas. She was born on December 19, 1950 in Del Rio, Texas to parents, Viviano and Julia Ortiz. She was educated in the San Felipe schools, and worked in San Antonio for several years. She married George Fay on June 7, 1980 She loved her plants, novelas, reading, and working for her church. She was a dedicated member of Bible Way Church and loved being in service with God's people. She served in many capacities, including secretary and treasurer for the Sunday School, Women's departments, and church. She was a member of the local and diocese Women's Council, and Missionary Department. She was always willing and ready to serve in any way and was faithful in her service. She worked diligently at Bible Way Christian Academy for over 25 years. Although her health would not permit her to work at her desk in the last few years, her heart was always there. She is survived by her husband, George Fay, daughter, Sloane Allen, siblings, Guadalupe O. Ramirez, Frank Ortiz, Anabelia Cardenas, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 16, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Bible Way Christian Church located at 409 E Cortinas St., Del Rio, Texas. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
