Martin R. Rodriguez, age 85, entered into rest on Sunday, December 28, 2014 in Round Rock, Texas. He was born on July 1, 1929. He is survived by his wife Maria "Anita" Rios. He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan Rodriguez and Nasaria Rivera, daughter, Anavelia Rodriguez, and grandson, Juan Jaime Garcia. Martin was a loving husband and exemplary father and grandfather. He leaves behind a legacy of love and family unity among his children, grandchildren, and extended family. Martin is also survived by his 5 children: Maria Guadalupe Garcia, Maria (Antonio) Rodriguez, Graciela (Jose) Escamilla, Martin (Ana Luisa) Rodriguez Jr., and Elida (Alfinio) Flores, 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 1, 2015, from 5:00pm- 9:00pm at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, January 2, 2014, 2:00pm, at St Joseph Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
