Mario "Grizzly" Martinez, age 58 of New Braunfels passed away Sunday, April 17, 2016 at his residence. He was born October 20, 1957 in New Braunfels to Ricardo Martinez and Maria Gutierrez Martinez. He married Sandra Rodriguez and they have been married 19 years. Mario was a devoted husband and father to his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Juanita Camareno and a brother Carlos Martinez. He is survived by his beloved wife Sandra L. Martinez; Sons John, Matthew, Elijah, Jacob and Mario Martinez, Jr.; daughter Victoria Martinez; sisters Josie Serl, Melida Hernandez, Eva Aleman and Melba Moreno. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 2 PM with a visitation to be held from 1 PM to 2 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home Chapel of Faith with Rev.
