Mario Esteban Herrera Venegas, age 63, entered into rest on Saturday, August 1, 2026 in Del Rio, Texas. He was born on May 22, 1963. He was preceded in death by his parents Esteban Herrera and Margarita Venegas Cardona; his brother Thomas Herrera.

He is survived by his wife Yvonne Rodríguez Herrera; children Magali (Jesús) Rivas, Mariela (David) López, and Mario Esteban (Roció) Herrera, Jr., Angela Mendoza, Erik Mendoza, and Marisol Mendoza; siblings Cesaria (Jaime) Pérez, María Del Rosario Herrera, Esperanza (Raúl) Rivas, José (Martha) Herrera, Arturo (Irma) Herrera, Alberto (Martha) Herrera, Miguel Ángel (Martha) Herrera, Juan Luis (María) Herrera, Rafael (María A.) Herrera, Gabriel (María) Herrera; sister-in-law Nancy Herrera; and 8 grandchildren.

Funeral services pending and will be held in Cd. Acuña, Coahuila, México with the interment to be held at Panteón San Francisco Vieja Palestina, Municipio de Jiménez, Coahuila, México.
