She was born on July 12, 1923 in Nava, Coahuila, Mexico. She is preceded in death by her husband Anselmo S. Vasquez, Sr., son Anselmo Vasquez, Jr., daughter Elva Alicia Rivera, grandson Anselmo Vasquez III. She is survived by her sons, Ruben Vasquez and wife Blanca, Rogelio Vasquez and wife Juanita, daughters Yolanda Lozano and husband Doroteo, Olga Ramos and husband Isidoro, Margarita V. Hernandez and husband Jose Cruz, brother Lorenzo Vela and wife Amparo, numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 11, 2006 from 5:00PM-9:00PM, Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, Chapel of Remembrance, with a recitation of a rosary at 7:00PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, June 12, 2006 at 10:00AM at St. Joseph"�s Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
