Maria Guillermina Vara (Guille), 65, was born in Acuna Coahuila, Mexico on June 25, 1958. She passed away on May 5, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones at the Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.

Maria dedicated her life to her husband, kids and grandchildren. She loved meeting new people and creating new friendships. She was kindhearted woman that was always there for those who needed a helping hand.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Nieves Martinez, Eufemia Martinez; daughter, Adriana Vara; grandson, Guillermo Vara; siblings, Gerardo Martinez, Valentin Martinez, Juan Antonio Martinez, Romelia Martinez.

Family that are left to cherish her memory forever include her son;Guillermo Vara; daughter, Yvette Vara and her husband Bruce Vega; seven grandchildren, Jesus A. Vara, Zuleyka Y. Vara, Daniel Cortez Jr, Axsel Vega, Ariel Vega, Brian A. Ortiz, Emma R. Romero; three great-grandchildren, Jayden B. Vazquez, Rose Y. Vazquez, Mia L. Vazquez; siblings, Ambrosio Martinez, Maria Lidia Garcia, Mauro Martinez, Eugenia Martinez.

She was a beloved mother and grandmother. She touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
