Tere was born on May 20, 1950, in Lequeitio, Coah, Mexico to the late Arcadio Garcia and Ana Maria Hernandez Garcia. She was married for 54 years to the late Raul A. Cardenas Sr.

Tere loved the Lord with all her heart, and she loved Gods word. She was a powerful prayer warrior and only heaven knows what a wonderful and eternal impact all her many years of faithful praying had on her family and friends.

Tere was preceded in death by her late husband Raul A. Cardenas Sr. and son Raul A. Cardenas Jr.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Rachel (Cardenas) Rivera (David Rivera), Ruby Cardenas, and Rolando Cardenas Jr. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Alyra, Asher, Cody, Yesenia, Raul III, Rolando Jr., Brianna, Rodrigo, and Roel. Great grandchildren, Angelica, Cody Luka, Caleb Alexander, Joel, Yareli, Mia, and Avianna; her brothers Roberto, Juan, Isabel, and Doroteo Cardenas; her sisters Felipa, Vicenta, Margarita, and Manuela.

The visitation will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Gentlemen with the Honor of Pallbearers are Rolando Cardenas, Jr., Raul Cardenas, III, Rodrigo Cardenas, Roel Cardenas, Cody Zamarripa, and Eduardo Rodriguez.

The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
