Maria M. Retana, age 65, entered into rest on Sunday, August 4, 2019 in Del Rio, Texas. She was born on June 1, 1954. Left to cherish her memory are her sons Otoniel Retana and Alexander Retana (Mayra); daughters Claudia Reyes (Cesar), Blanca Retana, and JoAnna Retana; brother Mike Cook; sisters Guadalupe Gonzalez and Juanita Retana; 13 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM; Prayer Service at 7:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 9, 2019 at 10:00 AM at the Victory Temple and Harvest Ministries at 1308 W. Garza St with Pastor Agustin Hernandez officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
