Maria Teresa Ramirez, 80, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fiacro Ramirez; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Juan C. Rodriguez; and her brothers, Frank and Jose Luis Rodriguez.

Maria Teresa was a caring mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. After becoming a widow at a young age, her strength and love held her family together. She taught by example—living each day with kindness, faith, and gratitude. Her warmth and humor brought light and laughter wherever she went.

She is survived by her children: Fiacro Ramirez, Jr. (Diane), Francine Rodriquez (Antonio), and Jaime Ramirez (Rachel); grandchildren: Diego, Joaquin, Carissa, Sergio, Tony, and Sofia, Desiree , Aria, Christian; and her sisters: Angelina Roman and Margaret Sharp (Tom). She is also survived by many cousins and close friends who will remember her with love.

Pallbearers will be Tom Sharp, Raul Galindo, Diego Ramirez, Joaquin Ramirez, Antonio Rodriquez, and Sergio Rodriquez.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM; recitation of the holy rosary at 5:30 PM, recited by her son Jaime Ramirez, at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave, Del Rio, Texas.

A Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 307 E. Losoya St., Del Rio, Texas with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 5144 Hwy 90 East, Del Rio, Texas.

Maria Teresa will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her love for family, and the quiet strength that inspired everyone who knew her.
