Maria M. Pequeno, age 83, entered into rest on Thursday, August 22, 2019 in Del Rio, Texas. She was born on October 22, 1935 in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. She was preceded in death by her husband Rodolfo T. Pequeno; son Raul Pequeno and grandson Ramon Daniel Menchaca. Left to cherish her memory are her sons Rodolfo Pequeno, Jr. and wife Patricia, Roberto Pequeno and wife Debbie, and Ricardo Pequeno and wife Rose Mary; daughter-in-law Esperanza Pequeno, surviving wife of Raul Pequeno; daughters Elza Zamora and husband Selestino, and Nereida Menchaca and husband Ramon; 13 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 26, 2019 at 10:00 AM at El Principe De Paz United Methodist Church located at 404 W. Chapoy St. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
