Maria Faz Pena was called to Heaven on March 18, 2022, at the age of 93. She was born on April 10, 1928, in Del Rio, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Cruz L. Pena, daughter Elia Reyes, son Cruz Pena, parents, Antonio Faz Sr., Juanita Faz, Siblings Antonio Faz Jr., Juan Faz, Benjamin Faz, Elias Faz, Daniel Faz, Lydia Cervantes, and Emilia Gomez. Left to cherish her loving memory is her daughter, Alma Lett Becerra (Mario) of Del Rio. Grandchildren: Maria Iglesias (Chachi), Domingo Reyes Jr., Christina Doty, Jose Tovar, Melinda Reyes-Rodriguez, Tony Trujillo, Jackee Trujillo, & Elia Nadine Trujillo. She is also survived by 18 Great-Grandchildren, 8 Great-Great Grandchildren, & numerous nieces & nephews. Gentlemen with the honor of serving as pallbearers will be Ryne Reyes, Matthew Gonzalez, Jose Tovar Jr., Nathan Reyes, Cruz A. Trujillo, Aydin Reyes, Andrue Reyes, & Zachary Reyes. Honorary Pallbearers: Raul Trujillo, Danny Tovar, Asher Frances & Nicholas Rodriguez. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Church Services will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at 10:00 am at Templo Tabernaculo; officiating Pastor Ruben Herrera. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
