Maria De Jesus Mejia age 71, entered into rest on April 15, 2014 in Del Rio, Texas. She was born July 14, 1942 in Zaragoza Coah., MX. She was preceded in death by her Parents Maximo and Isabel Zuniga, Son Jaime Mejia, Brother Jose Zuniga, and Sister Isabel Aranda. Left to cherish her memory are her Husband of 53 years Guadalupe Mejia, Sons Guadalupe Mejia Jr. and wife Juanita, Hector Mejia, Ariel Mejia and wife Nallely, Arturo Mejia and wife Melissa, Daniel Mejia and wife Stacey. Daughter Mari Pe�a and husband Julio. Sisters Inez Cruzado, Margarita Martinez and Queta Zuniga-Vela. Also survived by 18 grandchildren, 4 great grand-children, numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2014 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Recitation of the Holy Rosary 2:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 21, 2014 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Gentlemen with the honor of Pallbearers: Guadalupe Mejia Jr., Hector Mejia, Arturo Mejia, Ariel Mejia, Daniel Mejia, Miguel Zuniga and Raul Vela. Interment to follow at Comstock Cemetery.
