Maria Marcelina Martinez, age 95, entered into rest on March 10th, 2022, in San Angelo, TX. She was born on January 31st, 1927, in San Angelo, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents, Maria de Jesus and Macario Martinez; daughter, Ruth R. Garcia; sister, Minnie Martinez; great-granddaughter, Kylie Ybarra. She is survived by her sister, Racheal R. Martinez; son-in-law, Mario Garcia; grandchildren, Anthony, Lisa DeeAnn, Sophia Renee, Sandra Regina, and Cecilia Ruby Garcia. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, and 2 nieces, Rosa Maria and Rebekah Lynn. Maria lived a long, happy life, she taught us that when someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2022, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 14, 2022, at 2:00 pm, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
