Maria G. Garcia, age 73, entered into rest on Monday, October 13, 2025 in Austin, Texas. She was born on March 8, 1952 in San Carlos, Coahuila, Mexico.

Maria is preceded in death by her parents Martin R. Rodriguez and Maria "Anita" Rio de Rodriguez, sister Anavelia Rodriguez, and son Juan Jaime Garcia.

Left to cherish her memories are her son Juan Jose Garcia (Kimberly), daughter Maribel Garcia. Grandsons Justin Garcia (Katie) and Joseph Lomas, great-grandaughters Jolie and Chloe Garcia. Siblings Maria Rodriguez (Antonio), Graciela Escamilla (Jose), Martin Rodriguez (Ana), Elida Flores (Alfinio), and numerous nieces and nephews.

Gentlemen with the honor of pallbearers are Abel Rodríguez, Jose A. Escamilla, Raul Escamilla, Alfinio Jay Flores, Martin "Tre" Rodríguez III, and James Forrest.

The visitation will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave, Del Rio, Texas.

Visitation will continue on Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 8:30 AM - 11:00 AM followed by a chapel service at 11:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave, Del Rio, Texas.

The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 5144 Hwy 90 East, Del Rio, Texas.
