Maria F. Chavez, age 85, entered into rest on Thursday, September 1, 2016 in Del Rio, Texas. She was born on May 5, 1931 in Ciudad Acuna, Coahuila, Mexico. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Juan Chavez and wife Lety Chavez, Hervey Chavez and Danny Chavez and wife Liz Chavez. Daughters, Ma. Amparo Torres Chavez and Maricela Gonzalez. 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Friday, September 2, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 10:00am at St Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
