Maria Elena Garza, age 80, entered into rest Thursday, March 2, 2023 at her home in Del Rio, Texas. She was born August 23, 1942 in Acuña Coahuila Mexico. She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Eliazar Garza. Her brothers Jesus, Albino, Antonio, y Arturo Treviño. Her sisters Socorro Hernandez and Virtudez Zamora.

She is survived by her children Eleazar Garza Junior his wife Marisol and family, her daughter Lina Garza and family, her son Fernando Garza his wife Abigail and family, her son David Garza. Her grandchildren Valeria, Sofia, Lillian, Leonardo, Lazaro, Miguel, Alejandro Jesus, Olivia, Brent Jacob, Faith, Johnathan, Joseph, Edith, Noah, and great grandchildren Leyla, Leslie, Sheila, Carlos. Her brother Fidel Treviño.

She was a very blessed woman having many more nieces nephews and extended family.

We honor her as our mother who was caring, giving, very loving and compassionate to all he family and friends always sharing kind words and wise advice. We were blessed to have her 80 years. I pray that if she blessed your life, please share your memories with us.

Viewing will be held on Monday March 27th 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass service and Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, March 28, 10:00 am, following procession to St. Joseph Catholic Church. After mass service succession to Westlawn Cemetery.
