Maria Del Rosario "Chayo" Sanchez, age 81, entered into rest on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, in San Antonio, TX. She was born February 4, 1944, in Del Rio, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Ramona Limones, brother Jesus M. Limones, and sister Ramona C. Limones.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 62 years, Antonio "Tony" Sanchez, daughters Alma Sanchez and partner Andrea Ozuna, Gloria Sanchez, and Rosie Salazar and husband Robert; brother Manuel R. Limones and wife Romelia; grandchildren Clarissa Maini and husband Muneesh, Laura Salazar, Sarah Sepulveda and husband Erik, Anthony Sanchez, and Isaiah Sanchez and wife Faith; and great-grandchildren Ishaan Maini, Aaron Maini, Jade Iris Sanchez, and Elijah Blake Sanchez.

Visitation will be held Sunday, September 21, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:30 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home 2020 N. Bedell Ave, Del Rio, Texas.

Visitation continues Monday, September 22, 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave, Del Rio, Texas.

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, September 22, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church 510 Wernett St, Del Rio, Texas.

Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery 5144 Hwy 90 East, Del Rio, Texas.
