Our beloved mother, Maria Celedon, age 93, was called by our Heavenly Father on March 19, 2022 in Del Rio, Texas. She was born on September 19, 1928 in Sonora Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband Tiburcio Celedon; son Pablo Celedon, daughter Rosantina Gonzales; Parents Pedro Sandoval and Maria Garcia Sandoval. Left to cherish her memory are daughters Meli Moreno (Marcelino), Julia Torres (Jose Luis), Sylvia Garza (Nicolas Jr), Alicia Celedon and son Randy Quiñones. Sons, Raul Celedon (†Gloria), Ernesto Celedon (Yolanda), Juan Celedon, and Tiburcio Celedon Jr.. Also survived by 21 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Gentlemen with the Honor of Pallbearers are Teddy Moreno, Raul Celedon Jr., Ernesto Celedon Jr., Nicolas Garza III, Randy Quiñones, and Brandon Celedon. Honorary Pallbearers will be Alec Torres, Anthony Celedon De La Cruz and Ben Sandoval. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 24, 2022, 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 5:30 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, March 25, 2022, 3:00pm, St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery
