Maria Cecilia Ortiz went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 19, 2026, in Del Rio, Texas. She was born on January 10, 1947, in Del Rio, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her son, Lee Ortiz; her brother, Roberto "Bobby" De Leon; and her parents; Victoria and Rodolfo De Leon.

She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Vivian C. Ortiz, Jr.; her son, Mark A. Ortiz and wife Chris Ortiz; her daughter, Sharon C. Levrie and husband Albert Levrie. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Mark A. Ortiz II, Ricardo A. Chavez III, Brandon S. Ortiz, Autumn Torres, Ashlee Torres, Cameron Ortiz, and Tanner Ortiz; and one great-grandchild, Gavin Stone Ortiz.

Services are pending at this time.
