Maria Atilana Cruz, age 103, entered into rest on Friday, July 7, 2017 in Del Rio, Texas. She was born October 5, 1913 in Charcas, San Luis Potosi, Mexico. She is preceded in death by her husband Facundo Cruz and parents Anastacio and Anastacia Nerio. Daughter, Heriberta Estrada. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Lorenzo Cruz and wife Oralia, Maria Dolores Coronado and husband Emiliano, and Celia Prieto. Sister, Patricia Nerio also survived by 21-grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren. And numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 10, 2017, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM; Prayer service at 7:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at 10:00 AM at Templo Cristo Rey de Reyes, 124 Burge, Del Rio, Texas 78840 Gentlemen with the honors of Pallbearers will be: Isai Prieto, Jesus Morales, III, Ventura Coronado, Gerardo Coronado, Edwin Moncada, Jr, and Andrew Cruz. Interment will follow at San Felipe Cemetery.
