Margarita De La Cerda Pena, age 91, entered into rest on Monday, November 4, 2024 in Pflugerville, Texas. She was born on April 7, 1933.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Casimiro Del La Cerda and Maria Luz De la Cerda, and husband; Dionicio Pena.

She is survived by her children; Luis Zambrano (Rosalia), Leonel A. Zambrano (Elva), Ludivina Antonieta De La Cerda Zambrano, Margarita (Rita) Pena, and Jessica Pena Elizalde (Vladimir). Siblings; Guillermo De La Cerda, Angelina De La Cerda Russell, and Eva Luz De La Cerda Benard. Grandchildren; Michelle Zambrano, Luis A, Zambrano Jr., Melissa Zambrano, Jennifer Longo, Kimberly Longo, Jacob Elizalde, Michael A. Zambrano, and Isaiah Marquez Pena. And Great-grandchildren; Jenai Simon, Gabriella Simon, Evan Rodríguez, and Amina Marie Hunter.

The visitation will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2024 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM; recitation of the holy rosary at 6:30 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home.

The mass of christian burial will be held on Monday, November 11, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
