Manuela Marines, age 94, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Manuela was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She lived a life rooted in faith, love, resilience, and dedication to her family. Her warmth, wisdom, and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving children, Gloria Marines, Leticia Castro,and Robert Marines ; her siblings, Anastasio Solorio, Victoria Gonzalez, and Dora Sanchez; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Arturo Marines; and her siblings, Dominga Cruz, Benito Solorio, and Severo Solorio.
Manuela's legacy of love, faith, and family will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will remain a blessing to all who knew and loved her.

The visitation will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:30 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave., Del Rio, Texas.
Visitation continues on Monday, June 8, 2026 from 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 509 W. Garza St., Del Rio, Texas.
Serving as pallbearers will be Erik Marines, Jeno L. Perez, Priscilla Ozuna, Jamin Medina, Art Rodriguez, and Josue Venegas.
The interment will be held at San Felipe Cemetery, Del Rio, Texas.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Homes, Del Rio, Texas, (830) 778-2020, serving families with dignity and respect.
