Manuel Garza AKA El Cha Cha & El Raton age 70, entered into rest on Friday, March 21, 2025 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on November 12, 1954.
It is with profound of sadness that we announce the passing of Manuel R. Garza. He was 70 yrs. old.
A beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, son, brother, uncle, nephew, and a wonderful friend, who peacefully passed away in the kindest hospital in San Antonio, Tx on March 21, 2025.
Manuel was born in Rankin, Tx and lived in Brackettville, Tx with his wife and their 5 children. Manuel was a sheep shearer for about 35 + years and a custodian for 9 years, he loved cooking Bar B Que for his family, his most favorite meat to Bar B Que was brisket. He liked to dance; he also liked his scratch off tickets. He was a person that didn't like to spend all his time inside, he loved spending a lot of time outside. Manuel was known for his silly sense of humor and his jokes.
He was preceded in death by his parent; Juan Garza Sr., Concepcion R. Garza, Brother; Arturo Towns, Ricardo Garza, Juan Garza Jr., Enrique Garza, Raymundo Garza, Juan Francisco Garza. Grand Daughter; Isabella Petra Morin and numerous nephews and nieces.
He is survived by his one and only sister; Enriqueta Gonzalez, his wife; Juanita Morin of 45 years, their 5 children, 6 grandchildren; Graciela Morin (Tyree), Manuel Morin Jr. (Kassandra), Monica Aranda (David), Valentino Morin, Sabrina Morin. GrandChilden; Dakota Valenzuela, Diego Galvan, Miranda Aranda, David Aranda Jr., Skyler Jimenez, and Mariah Aranda. Great granddaughters; Renesmee and Genesis Valenzuela.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Brackettville Sunset Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, March 28, 2025 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Brackettville, Texas.
Pallbearers are; Dakota, David Sr., Moses Sr., Diego, Albaro, Guadalupe, Vicente, and Hector.
Interment will follow at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Cemetery, Brackettville, Texas.
