Manuel M. Fuentes, age 81, entered into rest June 18, 2007 in Uvalde, Texas. He was born July 22, 1925 in Eagle Pass, Texas. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents Bartolo and Julia Fuentes. Left to cherish his memory is his daughter Lisa Wormser and husband Bruce of San Antonio, Texas. Brothers: Benjamin Fuentes, Ruben Fuentes and wife Joyce. Sisters: Margaret Alcala and husband Alfonso, Elia Garcia and husband Richard. Also survived by his grandchild, Karen Marie Ledbetter and numerous nieces and nephews. The gentlemen left with the honors of pallbearers will be Henry Fuentes, Joe Maldonado, Ralph Fuentes, Bernie Cervantez, Frank Morgan and Tony Negrete. Visitation was held Wednesday, June 20, 2007 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM, in Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, Chapel of Remembrance. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 7:00PM. Mass of Christian Burial was held Thursday, June 21, 2007 at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, Brackettville, Texas at 10:00AM. Interment followed at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery, Del Rio, Texas.
