Luz P. Orduna, age 81 of New Braunfels passed away Friday, April 22, 2016 at Christus Santa Rosa New Braunfels. She was born on February 1, 1935 in New Braunfels to Daniel Perez, Sr. and Leonor Carreon Perez. She married Isidro Orduna and had been married for 41 years. She was a member of the Union Funebre De Padres Familiares of New Braunfels. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Ramon Perez and a sister Consuelo Ramirez. She is survived by her husband Isidro Orduna; Son Anthony Rodriguez and his wife Rita; daughters Gloria Rodriguez and Elvia Orduna; brother Daniel Perez, Jr ; sister Rebecca Perez; Six grandchildren Reynaldo, Jaime and Jesse Barcenas, Bianca Galvan, Sativa Rodriguez and Lydia Marie Castilleja; four great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin Sunday, April 24, 2016 at 5 PM with a rosary to be recited at 7 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home Chapel of Faith. The funeral procession will depart Sunset Memorial Oaks Chapel on Monday, April 25, 2016 at 9:30 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery #2. Serving as pallbearers will be Hugo Orduna, Enrique Orduna, Jaime Barcenas, Quinn Barcenas, Kenny Bustos, Sebastian Hernandez and Jacob Rios.
