In Loving Memory of Luisa Maria Gutierrez
A Life of Love, Strength, and Inspiration
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Luisa "Licha" Gutierrez, a beloved mother, cherished friend, and extraordinary individual, who was called home on June 22, 2025.
Born December 25, 1945, in Guanajuato, Mexico, Luisa lived a life marked by compassion, resilience, and an unwavering devotion to her family.
Luisa was known for her incredible kindness and generosity, always putting others before herself and offering a helping hand to those in need. She possessed a remarkable strength that carried her family through life's challenges, and her wisdom was a guiding light to everyone around her.
Among her many passions, Luisa found joy in cooking, knitting, watching her novelas, doing word search puzzles, spending time with her children and grandchildren, which brought color and beauty to her days and those of her loved ones. Her laughter filled the room, her stories inspired many, and her presence was a blessing that will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her children, Luisa (Paul) Gomez, Carmen (Ivan) Thompson, Paulina Gutierrez, Manuel (Salome) Gutierrez Jr., her grandchildren, Angel Gutierrez, Hannah Thompson, Olivia Thompson, Gabriela Angeles, Joe Anthony Sosa, Elias Gutierrez, Christian Gutierrez, and two great grandchildren who will continue to honor her legacy and celebrate the love she shared throughout her life. Luisa was preceded in death by her daughter, Maria Luisa Gutierrez, her loving husband Manuel Gutierrez, and her mother, Maria de Jesus Perez.
Although our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that Luisa lived a life full of love, devotion, and purpose. She will be remembered not only for what she accomplished but for the warmth and love she spread to all fortunate enough to know her.
Rest in paradise beloved mother. You will always be loved and missed.
