Luis A. Vasquez, age 63, entered into rest on Saturday, July 13, 2024 in Del Rio, Texas. He was born on November 30, 1960. He was preceded in death by his mother Carmen Rebeles Vasquez.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Mrs. Maribel Vasquez; son Luis A. Vasquez, Jr.; daughter Lorena Smith and son-in-law Kyle Smith; brothers Ernesto Vasquez, Jorge Vasquez, and Jesus Vasquez; sister Cecilia Romero; grandchildren Luca Smith, Nico Smith, Camila Smith; and his father Ernesto Vasquez De La Cruz.

The visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM; recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:30 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home.

The Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Gentlemen with the honor of pallbearers are Luis A. Vasquez, Jr., Kyle Smith, Ernesto Vasquez, Jorge Vasquez, Jesus Vasquez, Jose Ramirez, and Miguel Perales.

The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
