Luis Alberto Amezcua, "Albert," 65, entered into eternal rest on September 21, 2014 in El Paso, Texas with his family by his side. Albert was born April 29, 1949, in Los Angeles, California to the late Rene and Maria Alicia Amezcua. He is preceded in death by his brother Rene Amezcua, Jr. He leaves behind to treasure his memory his loving wife of 44 years, Josie Ramos Amezcua; sons, Luis Alberto Jr., Jose Luis and wife Vivianna, Miguel Angel and wife Priscilla; daughters, Georgina and Janina O'leary and husband Sean; grandchildren, Alejandro, Declan, Sebastian and Alec; brother, Eduardo Amezcua and wife Leticia; sisters, Maria Antonietta Ball and husband Frank and Lily Soto and husband Harry; sister-in-law Laura Amezcua; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Mass, officiated by Father Henry Clay Hunt III, will begin at 10:00am on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery. Following the religious ceremonies, Albert's family invites their friends and family to join them for a reception at UCO Hall.
