Lovetta Arlien Simpson, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on February 19, 2026 at the age of 83. She was born in Petaluma, California, on January 1, 1943, to Robert and Arlene Dwight.

Lovetta is survived by her loving husband; Halley Lee Simpson, two sons; Wesley (Donna) Simpson, and Clayton (Laura) Simpson. Grandchildren; Ryan (Julie Ann) Simpson, Hayley (Patrick) Romero, Kirstin Henderson, Ashton (Chris) Allen, Kendall (Shyenne) Henderson. Great grandchildren; Emerie, Sydney, Esmae, Mallory, Lincoln, Cooper and Elsie.

Lovetta was preceded in death by her parents; Robert and Arlene Dwight, brother; Bob Dwight and sister; Carol Crane.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a funeral service starting at 6:00 pm., at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 415 S. Business 35 North, New Braunfels, Texas.
