Loren Russell Sayer, age 74, entered into rest on Friday, August 28, 2026, in Del Rio, Texas. He was born on January 5, 1952, in Sierra Blanca, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Diana Sayer; daughters, Stephanie Sayer and Melissa Sayer; and six grandchildren, Laurel Kaye Hill, Samuel Shedd, Andrew Shedd, Jacob Gutierrez, Violet Salgado, and Natalie Salgado.

Loren was a musician, teacher, and author, dedicating his talents and creativity to the things he enjoyed throughout his life. His passion for music, education, and writing were meaningful parts of who he was and the legacy he leaves behind.

Above all, Loren was a believer in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. His Christian faith was an important part of his life, and he now leaves his loved ones with the comfort and hope found in the promise of eternal life.
