Lillian L. Ashurst, died May 24, 2024, peacefully at home. She was born in Avon Park,, Florida on April 29, 1935 to James and Louise Culpepper.

She is survived by her children, Sam Ashurst of San Antonio, Texas and Bonnie Warren of Del Rio, Texas, and grandsons John Warren of Del Rio, , Ryan Ashurst, and Matthew Ashurst of San Antonio, Texas. Her husband, Hiram S. Ashurst and her daughter, Karolyn, predeceased her. Her siblings, Beth Walker, Janie Kretz, and Ray Culpepper also survive her in Florida.

Lillian loved her family, traveling, and being in the garden with her beautiful flowers. On her travels to visit family in Florida, she loved to walk the southern beaches and look for seashells.

A private family ceremony will be held.
