Leticia Valadez Cuellar, 88, entered into rest on Sunday, December 28, 2025. She was born on May 28, 1937, in Del Rio, Texas.

Leticia was preceded in death by her husband, Gus Cuellar, Sr., her parents, Evangelina Ortiz Valadez, and Gustavo Valadez, and her sister, Enriqueta V. Mascorro.

She is survived by her children, Gus Cuellar, Jr. (Faye), Marco Antonio "Tony" Cuellar (Suzy), and Evangelina Cuellar Cortez (Eddie); her brother, Dr. Gustavo Valadez-Ortiz (Larry Dahl); and her cherished grandchildren, Renee Daniel Cuellar, Toni Christine Cuellar, Mia Rei Grace Cuellar, and Zachery Ryan Costilla. She is also survived by her great-grandson, Ace Daniel Cuellar. Leticia is lovingly remembered by her dear friend and caretaker, Neddie, and her best friend, Becky Taylor.

Pallbearers will be Richard Vidal Rodriguez, Jr., Robert Cadena, Steve Michael Garza, Jose Carlos Mascorro, Zachary Ryan Costilla, and Erich Robb.

The visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM; recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 6:30 PM by the Catholic Daughters of America, at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave, Del Rio, Texas.

Visitation will continue on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 from 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home; followed by the mass of Christian burial at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 307 E. Losoya St, Del Rio, Texas.
