Leopoldo "Leo" Lugo, age 79, entered into rest on Sunday, July 13, 2025, in Helotes, Texas. He was born on October 19, 1945, in Comstock, Texas.

Leopoldo had a Masters Degree from Sul Ross State University. He taught music for 39 years . He taught in Comstock, Brackettville, and Eagle Pass.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Alfredo and Mercedes Lugo. His brothers; Alfredo Lugo Jr. and Ricardo Lugo. His sisters; Amalia L. Rodriguez and Carolina L. Tobar.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife; Eleanor H. Lugo, children; Daniel Lugo, Clarissa Lugo,and Andres Joaquin Lugo. 8 grandchildren. Brother; Macario Lugo.

The visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 4:00 PM  - 8:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave, Del Rio, Texas.

A mass of christian burial will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025 10:00 AM with Father Lawrence officiating at Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, located at the intersection of Church and Langtry Streets., Comstock, Texas.

Gentlmen with the Honor of Pallbearers are  Joe Hidalgo, Herman Hidalgo, Robert Hidalgo, Thomas Tobar, Orlando Barrios, and Alvin Martinez.

The interment will follow at Comstock Cemetery.
