Leonor Salas Chacon, age 95, entered into rest May 17, 2008 in Del Rio, Texas. She was born April 11, 1913 in Del Rio, Texas. She was a consultant for Avon. She also retired from Perry Bros retail store after 13-years of dedicated service in1978. Her dream was fulfilled and completed with the development of Leonor S. Chacon subdivision located on the south part of Del Rio. She is preceded in death by her husband: Carlos Jose Chacon, Sr. Parents Ramon Salas and Julia Barrera Salas. Brothers: Gilbert B. Salas, Rafael B. Salas, Sisters Rebecca S. Huizar and Beatriz S. Ramirez. Left to cherish her memory are her Daughters Maria Dolores Chacon, Leticia Delia Chacon, Sons Cesar Carlos Chacon and wife Landa, Carlos Jose Chacon Jr. and wife Consuelo, Brother Jose Maria Salas. Sisters: Araceli S. Torres and Alicia S. Frausto, Grandchildren: Esequiel Talamantez III, Alexandra Zan Avila, Larissa C. Malmquist, Carlos J. Chacon, III, Carlos K. Kolden, Cheryl Stahovich, Lori Hepler, Cesar Chacon, Jr. Anthony B. Chacon, Desiree Chacon. 22 Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great-Grandson Caleb Minto. Gentlemen left with the Honor of Pallbearers: Esequiel Talamantez III, Melchor Avila, Armando Salas, Cesar Chacon Sr., Robert Garcia, Rafael Hector Salas, Carlos J. Chacon III and Carlos J. Chacon IV. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2008, 5:00PM-9:00PM, and Wednesday, May 21, 2008, 9:00AM-1:00PM Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, Chapel of Remembrance. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at Grace Community Church, 709 Kings Way at 3:30PM with Pastor Terry Maris, officiating. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
