Leonard Sandoval, age 57, entered into rest on Saturday, February 22, 2025 in Uvalde, Texas. He was born on September 13, 1967. He was preceded in death by his parents Raul & Marcelina Sandoval, son; Leonard Sandoval Jr., sister; Velma Martinez and grandson; Xavier James Lopez.

He is survived by his wife Amelia M Sandoval, children; Eugene (Julia) Sandoval, Makayla Sandoval, Felicha (Abel) Lopez, Benito Jr. (Tamara) Martinez, Jasmine (James) Gutierrez, his siblings; Raul Sandoval Jr., Jose (Maria) Sandoval, Geneva (Manuel) Gutierrez, and Martha (Reynaldo) Lopez. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.

The visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at The Brackettville Sunset Funeral Home at 302 E. Spring St., Brackettville, Texas

The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church at 301 S. Ann St., Brackettville, Texas.

Gentlemen with the Honor of Pallbearers: Eugene Sandoval, Jose Luis Sandoval Sr., Jose Luis Sandoval Jr., Jose F. Mata, Benito Martinez Jr., and Joseph "JJ" Sandoval.

Interment will follow at Kinney County Cemetery.
