Lawrence A Vaughn, 77 passed away on Saturday August 16, 2025. He was born on November 11, 1947 in Detroit, MI to Charles and Sylvia Vaughan.

Lawrence enlisted in the US Air Force in July 1966. He married Nancy Alice Witt in Abilene, TX on January 26,1968. He served in Vietnam from July-October 1968 and again from February-October 1969. He retired from the Air Force in September 1988 and went to work for Civil Service at Laughlin AFB, TX in April 1989. He retired there in August 2018.

Left to cherish his memory are wife Nancy and son Lawrence Jr and sisters Laurel Celeskey of Deckerville, MI and Harriet Terlecki of Mio, MI.

A memorial service is planned at a later date in Abilene, TX
