Keith Lee Nehring, 74, of New Braunfels, Texas passed away peacefully on November 18, 2021 surrounded by family. He was born on August 8, 1947 in Houston, Texas. He lived in many places across the United States as a member of the US Navy, but found his way back to Houston where he raised his family. He worked for Hughes Christensen for many years before retiring and moving to New Braunfels, Texas. He is preceded in death by his loving parents, John and Dorothy Nehring. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Lynn Nehring, his son John Nehring II, daughter Kristin Stephenson and her husband Dustin, sister Laura Robinson, nephew David Cochran and wife Heather, grandsons Cody, Jacob and Noah Stephenson and countless close family members. Keith was known for his love of gardening and hunting. He never met a stranger and always had the biggest heart. He was well known for offering good conversation to anyone that passed by. You could often find him with a cold Lone Star Light in his hand whether it be in his driveway or at the ranch. Keith was a strong Lutheran. His family and friends find peace in knowing that he has gone to meet his maker, our Lord Jesus Christ. Services will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 11am at Cross Lutheran Church at 2171 Common Street in New Braunfels, TX.
