Judith (Judy) Barbara Brightman was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Judy passed away on October 13, 2023, at the age of 82 after a courageous battle with an aggressive cancer, surround by her two daughters, Yvonne and Alicia, and her granddaughters Allyssa, Sophia, and Sera.She was born to Helen Fedyszyn and Bronislaw (Bernard) Kussey on September 21, 1941. After graduating from high school, Judy worked as a bookkeeper. She married her husband, Robert Brightman (deceased) and together they had 5 children: Bernard (deceased), Robert (deceased), Yvonne Applonie, Christopher (deceased), and Alicia Brightman.In her heyday, Judy enjoyed gardening, baking and cooking, playing golf, and shopping (what girl doesn't). She celebrated her polish heritage by sharing family recipes, as well as her love of cooking and gardening with her daughters and granddaughters.In addition to being survived by her daughters and granddaughters, Judy is survived by her cousin Arlene, and her brother Joe's children Joseph (Joey), Christine (Tina), Melissa (Missy), and Kelley.To honor Judy's wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no funeral service. Immediate family will hold a memorial in the near future to celebrate her life. We invite everyone to celebrate Judy's memory privately in your own way.
