Juanita "Johnnie" Sanchez Ortiz, age 72, entered into rest on Friday, April 14, 2017 in Cd Acuna, Mexico. She was born November 7, 1944 in Abilene, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband Ismael Ortiz. Parents Antonio and Paula Sanchez. Daughter Marylu Ortiz, brothers Lupino Sanchez and Antonio Sanchez, Jr. Left to cherish her memory are her Sons, Ismael Ortiz, Jr. and wife Sandra, Jesus Ortiz and wife Cynthia. Daughters Susie Ortiz Reyes and husband Mario, Teresa Ortiz Alvarado and husband Domingo, Paula Garza and husband Daniel, Mary Venegas and husband Mario, Lety Padilla and husband Tony. Brother Ramon Sanchez and Sister Dolores Sanchez. 22 grandchildren, 64 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Monday, April 17, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Chapel Service will be held Tuesday, April 18, 2017, 10:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home with Pastor Agustin Hernandez officiating. Gentlemen with the honor of pallbearers; Ismael Ortiz, Jr., Jesus Ortiz, Antonio Padilla, Daniel Garza, Mario Venegas and Juan Antonio Carmona. Interment to follow at San Felipe Cemetery.
