Juana Hernandez Vasquez passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2019 surrounded by family and loved ones. Juana was born in Eden Texas on June 12, 1929. She once again will be reunited with her beloved husband of 71 years, Luis Beltran Vasquez who preceded her in death along with her parents Daniel Moya Hernandez and Juana Montalvo Hernandez, her brother Roberto Hernandez, brother-in-law Fortino Mesta, sister-in-law Paula Hernandez, son-in-law Humberto (Wow) Lopez, Jr. and grandson Luis Angel Vasquez. She is survived by her brothers, Pablo Cayetano (Alicia), Alvino (Elida) Hernandez, and sisters Ines Mesta, Dominga (Jack) Scott, sister-in-law Ramona (Queta) Hernandez, and numerous nieces and nephews. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Rosa Fredette, Rodolfo (Dora Elia) Vasquez, Maria Elena (Marcelo) Puente, Agustin (Gilda) Vasquez, Zulema (Michael) Garrity, Sandra Lopez, Dora Elia (Fernando) Lopez, Grace (Eddie) Rodriguez, and Raquel Vasquez (Quinton Gonzalez), 20 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 2 great, great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 14, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM; Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. A Chapel Service will be held on Monday, April 15, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home with Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
