Juana (Juanita) Santillan entered eternal life on December 28,2022. She was born on May 6, 1942 to Ines Gaspar and Pablo Zaragoza in Nueva Jarita Coah Mexico. She was married to Alejandro Santillan and was a loving mother of 5 children. Was a member of St Joseph parish for 57 yrs and worked as a custodian for the Del Río school district where she enjoyed interacting with colleagues. Our dear Mother absolutely loved family gatherings and preparing everyone's favorite dish. Mother loved her daily prayer time. She enjoyed reading, crocheting and daily long walks.

She is preceded in death by her son Gabriel Santillan, her parents, and sisters Rosa Rizo and Severiana Cruz.

She is survived by her husband of 62 yrs Alejandro. Her daughters María Eugenia/Jose Martin Ramirez; Patricia/Jose Hernandez. Her sons, Alberto and wife Ida; Alejandro Jr, wife Anne Sellers; Grandchildren Kristina, husband Prudencio González; Isabel, husband Norman Christie; Victoria, husband Tomas Maldonado; Jose Hernandez III, wife Alejandra; Gabriela Salcido; Adrianna, husband Roberto Dominguez; Ernesto Castro; and Alessandra Santillan; Great grandchildren; Isabella, Belen, Ines, Camila, Eleanor and Samuel .

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM; Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 5:30 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Services will conclude after the mass.
