Juan Ibarra, Jr., age 61, entered into rest on Thursday, December 8, 2016 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on October 1, 1955 in Del Rio, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father Juan Jose Ibarra; brother Jose Luis Ibarra; sister Rosy Alderete. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 28 years Gloria R. Ibarra; mother Carmen Padilla Ibarra; son Adrian Ibarra; brothers Javier Ibarra, Gerardo Ibarra and wife Toni; sisters Cristina Wetzel and husband Stephen, Bertha Ford and husband Dennis. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 11, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM; Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, December 12, 2016 at 2:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Gentlemen with the Honor of pallbearers are Domingo Padilla, Jr., Jerry Hidalgo, Dennis Ford, Ray Torres, Gerardo Ibarra and Miguel Perez. Military honors will be rendered by the U.S. Navy and American Legion Post 595. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
