He also coached softball for 28 years. He worked for The City of Del Rio for 7 years then worked at Laughlin Air Force Base for 22 years before retiring earlier this year. He also had many Godchildren, family, and friends. He was a man of few words, but you always knew how he felt about you. He has always been a family man and enjoyed supporting his family in all their activities. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to whoever was in need. Any time you asked him to choose something he always said "Whatever, I don't care, lo que tu quieres Maria." He will always be remembered as a gentle giant with a kind heart.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him." -John 3:16-17
