Juan F. Arreola Jr,age 67, peacefully departed into eternal life on December 30th, 2025 in Del Rio, TX. He was born to Juan G. Arreola and Maria de Jesus Arreola in Del Rio, TX on October 30,1958. He attended Southwest Texas junior college where he obtained an automotive mechanic certificate.
His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family and watching them prosper. He was overjoyed when he became a grandfather to his grandson Damian Arreola. He was someone that anyone could call for help and he would be there, especially anything with cars. He dedicated 37 years of his life working for Border Patrol fleet maintenance. He was a devoted father, who took great pride in coaching his sons, cherishing the time spent mentoring them both on and off the field. He was a great friend to many. A tough hearted man.
He is preceded in life by his parents Juan G. Arreola and Maria De Jesus Arreola. He is survived by his sons Juan Arreola III (Johnny) and Miguel Alberto Arreola (Michael). His grandson Damian Arreola. His siblings Bruno Arreola, Hervey F. Arreola, Maria Del Socorro Arranaga and Emma Arreola, along with numerous family members.
Gentlemen with the Honors of Pallbearers: Glafiro Santellanes, Jesus Rogelio Soto, Juan Arranaga, Jesus Arreola, Hervey Arreola Jr., and Juan M. Arreola; Honorary Pallbearers: Hervey Arreola Sr. And Bruno Arreola.
Visitation will be held Monday, January 5, 2026 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM, with a recitation of the holy rosary at 6:30 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave, Del Rio, Texas.
Visitation continues Tuesday, January 6, 2026 from 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave, Del Rio, Texas; the Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 510 Wernett St., Del Rio, Texas.
The interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 5144 Hwy 90 East, Del Rio, Texas.
